Murmur
Murmur is a vertical plaster relief on a wood panel. Soft, hand worked lines rise and turn, creating a quiet rhythm that shifts with the light. The surface holds small variations from the making process, giving gentle texture without crowding the eye.
The piece is finished with an oak look frame that sits close to the work and keeps the focus on the relief. Its measured scale (700 × 500 mm) offers presence while remaining easy to place. The palette stays restrained so the form and texture do the work.
Each mark is laid by hand using simple tools. Plaster is applied, shaped in passes, and lightly refined to keep the surface honest. A clear finish protects the work while preserving a matte feel.
