Nacre

Nacre is a compact plaster and paint relief on a wood panel. A field of raised dots spreads across the surface while a gentle diagonal movement gathers them into a quiet flow. The texture is built by hand, so small variations remain visible and the surface feels honest and tactile.
The square format keeps the composition clear and balanced. Colour stays restrained to keep attention on the relief and the way light shifts across the dots. At 300 × 300 mm it sits well on a shelf, in a niche, or grouped with other works.
Plaster is applied in layers, shaped and refined with simple tools, then sealed to preserve a matte feel and protect from handling.
